Imisioluwa Oladiyun: Attending JNissi School is definitely one of the many blessings in life. Each year I spent in that environment prepared me for the life I’m able to live today. Asides straightening me academically, JNissi instilled in me Thinking outside the box, Independence, Uprightness, Meekness and above all, the love of God. I enjoyed every subject classes but music classes were always a special time for me, I loved to play the instruments. This is greatly impacted in my career choice today. Today, I’m a blooming sound engineer. Graduated in the Year 2006 Currently CEO, Kudos Music Studio.

As a little girl I have always been in love with the way of life of other people and all about their culture. This love for people’s culture had always made me look forward to the annual Festival of Arts. Once the date of FOA was announced, I would disturb my mum to get my outfits ready as I wanted mine to stand out. I was always excited to go for rehearsals. Dance and Drama were my favorites even though I cannot dance to save my life but I always made sure I belonged to those groups. 13years after my last FOA in JNissi, I currently run a travel blog and lead tours within Nigeria and Africa. From the little girl who always wanted to dress up and represent peoples’ cultures, share about experiences and thereby influencing people to want to experience other peoples’ cultures and festivals. Every FOA brought a different lesson to be learned and this has played a vital role in my present career path. I love to travel, explore new places, see new people, try new meals and help people do same and travel to happiness. I am a tour manager, an experienced travel designer and a travel blogger and I am Diusor Odiakosa, an alumnus of Jnissi Class of 2006. Currently a Travel Blogger

My 2years in JNissi school was indeed a life changing experience for me. I came into the school as a little, naïve but adventurous little girl who wanted to be a full time dancer. The all-round curriculum the school offered was indeed a perfect place for my evolving self. With the assistance of the great teachers the school offered, my grades were always up, my diction and public speaking was topnotch, my sport life and interaction with people made my parents proud. JNissi gave me room to not only be a better and knowledgeable me, but also instilled leadership into my veins. I became Head Girl in the 2005/2006 session by merit. Here was a girl who couldn’t look a person in the eye while communicating. As Head Girl, I learnt and began to give speeches in front of hundreds of people at school events like the Festival of Arts and Graduation Ceremonies. I always had to be on top of my game at all times as I was being looked upon as an ambassador of the school and a role model to the younger ones coming behind. To the grace of God, it was a successful tenure. 15years later, I found myself in JNissi School once again, not as a student this time but as a member of staff of this World Class Citadel of Learning. My one year working here has exposed me to a whole new perspective of the school. I love and enjoy working here as everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission of the school. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. Also, a lot of great changes have been made. JNissi has become even a stronger force to reckon with in Education. I’m proud that the legacy the past students of the school built hasn’t dwindled, in fact, more feats have been achieved. Our leaders are going out for competitions and still winning, even at State and National Levels. So many a times, I see them in their uniforms and I begin to reminisce the good old days that Oreoluwa was a student here. Graduated in the Year 2006. I worked in JNissi Schools after graduation as the Marketing Manager, Currently a media Executive with WhoGoHost Ltd..

My experience in J-Nissi marked a starting moment of greatness in my life. It inculcated the spirituality values in me and made me see Jesus as my friend right from an early age. This has made life easier and given me the strength to keep pushing knowing that I can cast my cares on Him because He cares for me. It also brought out the extroverted part of me and taught me the true definition of self confidence and boldness. I learnt how to not just be any kind of leader but a transformational leader that is willing to lead, show and go the right way. Knowing that I am not too young to start transforming my world through the lessons I had learnt, I started a Non-governmental organisation at the age of 17 with the aim to raise the genius in the African child by imbibing the right mentality, developing their individual talents and skills and tasking their thoughts pattern. I am grateful for the awesome opportunity to be an alumni of this great citadel of learning, JNissi Children School.
